Sant Andrea del Carpine was formerly a Romanesque church. This villa in Gabbiana in Tuscany, Italy took almost three years for its renovation. The owner who is a collector and a historian has made this beautiful country home. You can enjoy the views of beautiful Apuan Mountains in this extremely private villa of Italy. The spectacular garden has often been the setting for many evening parties. Along with the living rooms, this three storey villa has a huge library. You can enjoy a great time either in the huge library or in the reading areas and terraces. What makes this villa perfect is the interior, designed with antiques of various countries like Mexico.

Surrounding the villa is the Gabbiano village, the awe-inspiring landscapes of Lunigiana and the Cinque Terre villages which will make your stay really worthwhile. The villa will give you the feel of having stepped into another era.

The villa provides services of maids and has accommodation of dining and living room, kitchen, sitting room, single bedroom with shower room, laundry room. The first floor has library and study, drawing room, twin bedroom with bathroom and small dressing room. In the second floor you will get double bedroom with shower and dressing room, and gallery over drawing room. Besides, there is a private pool and you can enjoy the facility of dishwater, washing machine, satellite television, telephone, fax and internet connection and croquet and petanque bar. Toretta de Massimi Cottage, Rome, Italy (Sleeps 4)

If you want to elude from the busy city, then go for this villa, situated amidst wooden and rural pastoral landscape. The once stables on the 400 acres of land has been converted into this beautiful villa by the family which owned it from 16th century. The trompe l’oeil painting outside the wall adds to the beauty of the cottage. The cottage is beautifully renovated with combination of modern and antique and prints of architecture on the walls. The first floor boasts of the fabric and colorful Master bedroom with a king sized bed. The twin beds and the tiled floors glowing with bright colors make the second floor very impressive. The open air area for dining outside, the lawns and the gardens along with the swimming pool will attract you the most and make to come back again and again.

The cottage offers accommodation for four. The sitting and the kitchen and dining area is in the ground floor, while the first floor is occupied with a Master bedroom with open fireplace, one twin bedroom and bathroom. The satellite TV, dishwater, internet access, telephone are the other facilities offered. Being closer to Rome, this villa is only 20 kms from Rome airport.

Vico Basso, Vico D’arbia, Siena, Italy (Sleeps 4)

Perfect for two couples and also for families, this villa is located on a small and private area. The location of the villa makes it more often visited; it is only five minutes from Taverne d’Arbia where you can go for shopping. The owner has renovated this property, maintaining the original traditional beams and the terracotta floors. The present villa is decorated with stones, fabrics of beige and cream color, the color washed walls and the 16th century farmhouse beamed ceilings gives it a splendid look. You will be swept off your feet with the views of the countryside visible from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The villa has a study, large drawing room with a fireplace furnished with sofas colored in ivory and bleached wooden floors. The kitchen of the villa is updated with modern conveniences; the Master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and queen sized bed is what the villa flaunts off.

Along with all these, the villa also offers library with sofa bed, heated swimming pool, outdoor kitchen barbeque and terrace, satellite TV, WIFI internet connection, dishwasher and washing machine, transport facilities and many more. From May to October, the revised price will be €3,562 per week

Fattoria di Mugello, Tuscany, Italy (Sleeps 16)

Originally an olive oil producing farm, Fattoria di Mugello is now one of the most beautiful villas of Italy. This villa of the early nineteenth century is owned by a family. The outbuildings, the chapel within the main house and the gardens filled with old trees makes this villa is place to be in. The living rooms are widely spaced and are furnished in a traditional and tasteful manner. The walls of the rooms are crowded with animals as the owners have a history of hunting. You can have open air dinner in the terrace and also opt for candlelit suppers in the courtyard of the villa. The large French doors are the added attraction of this villa.

The villa accommodates space for sixteen. The villas is fed with cloakroom, living and dining room, drawing room, TV room which has frescoed walls, kitchen, chapel. The first floor has a living room, two double bed room, bathrooms, and twin bedroom. In the mezzanine floor, you will get two twin bedrooms, bathroom stairs to single bedroom. The second floor will offer you two double bedrooms, bathrooms, three single bedrooms and twin bedroom.

Villa Petrolo, Mercatale Val d’Arno, Chianti, Tuscany, Italy (Sleeps 19 + 15)

This villa goes back to 1700 when it was built and owned by architect Massimiliano Soldani. This villas made beautiful with large green shutters of Tuscan tradition is located amongst the vineyards, oak and holm-oak woods and groves of green olive. Traditionally and tastefully furnished, this villa has spacious rooms that include two dining rooms, a billiard room, and a huge hall with crystal chandelier of Murano. The first floor of the villa can accommodate up to 19 people and is the best for friend and family gathering. The second floor of the villa that can accommodate 34 guests has two apartments, each filled with triple bedroom, double bedroom and twin bedroom. Other than these, the villa has a private garden, swimming pool, tennis court which proves to be a perfect setting for summer days. The villa has three private lakes where you can go for fishing or can visit the nearby winery.
