Theme park reopens with tighter security after shooting
Pennsylvania theme park Kennywood reopens today with beefed-up security protocols after last weekend’s shooting that injured three people
It is doubling the number of police officers patrolling the park and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The park’s own security patrols will also increase
There will be spot-checks of bags as well as all items going through the existing weapons detection system.
The park also unveiled a new bag policy with only small bags allowed plus medical and diaper bags.
