Thick fog causes more flight delays
Flights to and from London airports are again being affected by fog.
British Airways said the fog will mean a slight reduction to its services from Heathrow, while Gatwick and London City flights could also be affected.
The BA website says: "Thick fog forecast across parts of southern England will affect some flights to and from London’s airports on Wednesday, 25 January.
"For safety reasons, Air Traffic Control has to allow greater space between landing aircraft in fog and this will mean a reduced number of aircraft being allowed to land each hour at Heathrow.
"As a result we are slightly reducing our Heathrow flight schedule, and other flights may face some delays.
"We are also expecting further fog at Gatwick and London City airports to affect some flights.
"We are sorry for the difficulties caused by the poor weather and will do all we can to minimise the effect it has on our operations."
