Third mega ship for Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean Cruises has confirmed an order for a third Freedom-class vessel – the largest cruise ship in the world.
The 3,600-passenger ship is due to enter service in early 2008 at a cost of more than $800 million.
The Miami-based company now has three confirmed orders for the giant vessels which are 15% larger than its existing fleet of Voyager-class ships. The first is due to start sailing in the Caribbean from Miami in June next year.
