Thomas Cook announces Holmes replacement
Thomas Cook has announced that Kelly Cookes will lead the Freedom Travel Group and Co-operative Personal Travel Consultants following the departure of Alison Holmes this summer.
She will report to Joanna Wild, MD of Retail.
Holmes is leaving Thomas Cook to join Midcounties Co-op Travel as head of its new consortium business.
Wild said: "As Alison Holmes remains with us for the next three months this will allow a smooth transition and seamless handover with Kelly taking over in full in the summer. This will ensure we have the right management structure in place to support member’s busy lates trading season.
"Having previously worked with members as Relationships Manager, Kelly was the ideal candidate bringing her significant knowledge and experience of Freedom and CPTA business needs, as well as her wider knowledge and experience of sales and commercial roles in the travel industry.
