Thomas Cook appoints SEO “guardianâ€

Independent search engine optimisation and pay per click consulting firm Greenlight is to handle the SEO strategy for Thomas Cook UK and Ireland.
Greenlight will manage the company’s SEO marketing from strategic planning and development through to implementation.
The travel company’s ecommerce deputy director David Hilton said: “We wanted an agency that would be the guardian of our SEO strategy.
“Greenlight offers a range of high quality services and its strength of proprietary technologies are well reputed. The firm is trusted and highly regarded for its ability to achieve and deliver outstanding results.”
Greenlight chief operating officer Andreas Pouros said: “SEO is clearly a key element of Thomas Cook’s online strategies.
“We’re delighted to be working with Thomas Cook to help make natural search account for more website traffic.”
Greenlight clients include Vodafone, British Gas, Interflora and Co-operative Financial Services.
