Thomas Cook outsources its UK escorted tours
Collette Travel Service is to take over the running of Thomas Cook’s UK escorted tours business in a five year minimum contract.
The operating and brand license agreement to outsource Thomas Cook Tours starts today and applies to all tours departing after March 1, 2014.
The business will be ‘white labelled’ and continue to be known as Thomas Cook Tours. Thomas Cook will also continue to market the business as part of its ‘Signature’ offering for the duration of the agreement.
Harriet Green, group chief executive Thomas Cook Group plc, said: "Outsourcing our tours activity to an established specialist like Collette Travel enables us to continue to offer our customers the widest possible range of personalised experiences to meet their needs."
Thomas Cook’s UK tour operator, including the charter programme and its scheduled business, remains unchanged.
