Thomson has teamed up with ITV to offer a 50% discount on a month’s subscription to the international TV service ITV Essentials this summer, so holidaymakers can keep up with their favourite programmes while abroad.

Available on desktop, iPhone and iPad, ITV Essentials is offered in 12 European countries including popular Thomson holiday destinations such as Greece, Spain, Canaries and the Balearics, Italy and Portugal.

Featuring popular series such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Loose Women and The Only Way is Essex, the service has a 30-day catch up window.

Thomson marketing and digital director Jeremy Ellis said: "We are always looking at new ways to continually innovate our holidays and offer our customers something extra to make their experience with us even more special.

"Customers can catch up on their favourite shows whilst they’re relaxing in their hotel room or by the pool. Together with ITV we’re making watching ITV abroad more accessible, cheaper and convenient than ever."

The partnership will run until November 10.
