Thomson syncs cruise programme with Dreamliner routes
Thomson is combining its revamped 2014/15 Caribbean cruise programme with flights on its new Dreamliner aircraft.
Under the changes, Thomson Dream will be based in Montego Bay, Jamaica for the first time, and 11 new ports of call have been added, including overnight stays in Havana, Cuba.
Thomson Dream will be the only UK cruise ship based in Montego Bay and will operate five new itineraries, from December 23 2014.
In addition, the rest of the Thomson Cruises long haul programme has been expanded, with Thomson Celebration cruising from its new home port Bridgetown, Barbados and a brand new destination, Pointe-a-Pitre in Guadeloupe added to the programme.
Customers can stay in one of the 26 cabins with private balconies that have been recently added to Thomson Celebration as part of a revamp.
The new winter 2014 line up offers customers the chance to fly to both Barbados and Jamaica on the 787 Dreamliner from regional airports.
Fifteen extra flights over the winter season to Montego Bay have been added and Thomson is offering more flexible durations for its expanded cruise-and-stay programme.
Customer operations director Fraser Ellacott said: "We are extremely excited about our itinerary portfolio for winter 2014/15 and have really listened to what our customers want."
