Three new ships in NCL 2007-08 brochure

Thursday, 26 Jun, 2006 0

Norwegian Cruise Line is featuring three new ships in a 2007-08 Cruise and Stay Holidays brochure.

Pride of Hawaii, Norwegian Pearl and Norwegian Gem will bring the fleet size up to 11 vessels by the end of 2007.

The new 140-page brochure covers 48 year-round intineraries including the return of Norwegian Jewel next summer to operate seven-night fly-cruises from Barcelona starting at £799.

Cruise-only prices begin at £339 for a five-night western Caribbean sailing. A range of pre- and post-cruise options are included such as three nights in Key West and four nights in Kahului, Hawaii.

The brochure covers the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, South America and Europe.

It has been designed as a “complete sales tool” for travel agents and will be supported by dedicated destination brochures and the line’s website. The brochure will also form part of NCL’s online Cruise Academy training programme. A DVD can be ordered from the website showing the company’s Freestyle Cruising concept.

Key features include Norwegian Gem – due for delivery at the end of 2007 – sailing from New York, Atlantic crossings by Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Dream and a range of early booking offers including up to $300 on board credit, free connecting UK regional flights, free coach transfers and free car parking at selected airports.

UK general manager Francis Riley said: “With the huge investment we have made in our ships, new now boast a state-of-the art fleet which will become the youngest major cruise fleet sailing in the market with the delivery of Norwegian Pearl later this year. The new brochure reflects trade feedback, which we hope will help them to sell our cruises with greater ease and more confidently.”
