Three resume Egypt trips
Intrepid, Peregrine and Geckos have decided that the time is right to resume operating trips to Egypt.
Trips will start again from October 27.
The three companies cancelled trips on safety grounds following the unrest in Egypt in early July and subsequent demonstrations.
James Thornton, group managing director, said the situation in Egypt has been closely monitored "in conjunction with our local operations team based in Cairo and after seeing the situation steadily improve".
"The government has relaxed aspects of their State of Emergency, including the overnight curfew, and the streets have returned to calm.
"The safety of our passengers remains our highest priority and we will continue to monitor events in Egypt to ensure that all trips operate smoothly and any potential risks are minimised," Thornton added.
