Thunderstorms lead to hundreds of flight cancellations
Rain and thunderstorms have led to hundreds of flight cancellations and delays at Chicago’s O’Hare International airport.
Last night Chicago Department of Aviation officials said that the storms were responsible for the cancellations of 580 flights at the airprort, reported the Chicago Tribune.
Over a hundred flights in and out of O’Hare International have been cancelled today, according to flight statistic website, 93 inbound and 12 outbound.
At Midway International Airport, delays have also been reported.
