Tipsy birds latest airline hazard?
Drunk cedar waxwing birds have been reportedly “causing all sorts of problems” at Atlanta’s busy airport, reported the Clayton News Daily.
“They were flying all over the entrance road and disturbing people as they drove into the airport,” said Ken Martin, environmental compliance manager at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
What led to the un-bird like behavior?
Berry bushes that the birds loved, reported Mr Martin.
The problem was solved when the airport cut back on the bushes.
