Titan Travel merges and rebrands
Titan Travel has merged its two independent-travel divisions – Connections Worldwide and Tailor Made Travel – and will sell both programmes through the trade.
Operating under the name Tailor Made Travel, the company will sell high-end product in Australia, New Zealand, Indochina, North America, South America, South Africa and around the world.
Tailor Made Travel general manager Rachel Cooper said: “Connections is a well-established brand in the trade arena and we wanted to combine our strengths and unparalleled knowledge across both brands to create a truly global programme of independent holidays to the world’s most unique and desirable destinations.
“The merger will allow agents to create bespoke packages using Tailor Made Travel’s fantastic range of product whilst still enjoying the high levels of service (from the same sales staff) that has made Connections such a popular brand among the travel trade. In fact the only difference agents will notice will be in the name.”
The first brochure to be released under the new Tailor Made Travel brand will focus on Canada and is due to launch later this month.
This will be followed by stand-alone brochures for USA, Australia and New Zealand and a new website scheduled to launch in early 2012.
