TMS Asia-Pacific signs MOU with UK recruitment specialist
Further extending its international reach, TMS Asia-Pacific (TMS) has gained a significant entry into the lucrative UK market following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with London-based recruitment specialist C&M Group.
Under the terms of the accord TMS and C&M have agreed to cooperate on a wide number of proposals and strategies.
These include sharing of information, cooperation on research projects, promotional campaigns and particularly education and training which TMS Chief Executive Officer, Gary Marshall said could possibly see TMS Asia-Pacific-based staff ‘job swapping’ with their UK counterparts in the near future.
Mr Marshall said while both companies stood to gain exponentially from the pooling of resources, those with the most to gain were both companies’ clients and candidates.
“From a client/candidate perspective it’s a major benefit as they will now be able to have immediate access to a huge pool of prime international travel and hospitality employment opportunities at all levels.
Mr Marshall, who indicated the MOU was a precursor to the signing of a more formal agreement, said that C&M Group provided TMS with a perfect relationship fit in the UK.
“C&M Group, like TMS, is an established specialist recruitment firm with a very solid reputation and is very similar in size,” he said.
“The company is to the UK/Europe market what TMS is to the Asia/Pacific region, both companies have similar, strong synergies and both companies are extremely focused on service delivery and client retention.”
Formed in 1998 C&M Group is one of the UK’s leading recruitment and training agencies operating an extensive network from its London, Manchester and Crawley (West Sussex) offices.
The company operates four distinct brands within its structure.
These include C&M Group Travel Recruitment, C&M Hospitality Recruitment, Rise Executive Search and Train4Travel.com which provides online travel training solutions to the UK travel industry.
