Tok Tok ready to showcase best of Vanuatu
Travel trade registrations have opened for Tok Tok Vanuatu 2014.
Being held from August 25-30, Tok Tok Vanuatu 2014 will launch with two days of pre-tours to Vanuatu’s outer islands of Tanna, Espiritu Santo and Malekula, followed by two days in Port Vila for pre-scheduled meetings, local touring options and hotel site inspections.
Malekula is a new tour option this year, allowing buyers to discover another of Vanuatu’s outer islands.
The compulsory pre-tours to Tanna and Espiritu Santo take place from August 26-27.
Vanuatu Tourism Office general manager, Linda Kalpoi, said Australia is Vanuatu’s biggest visitor market and the relationship between Australian wholesalers and Vanuatu partners is integral to the growth of Vanuatu tourism.
"Having recently returned from the Vanuatu roadshow, which included events in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, we’ve seen the deep interest the Australian industry has in Vanuatu.
"Tok Tok is the perfect opportunity for wholesaler buyers to experience the pictures and words we presented (in Australia), firsthand," she said.
