Tokyo Disney parks reduce daily park capacity
Tokyo Disney parks have lowered the daily limit on visitor numbers. Park operator Oriental Land Co. said the number of visitors to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea is reduced from 20,000 to 5,000, effective until 11 May.
The lower limit comes into force as local neighbourhood Urayasu and four other cities in Chiba Prefecture will come under emergency control measures to curb the spread of Covid.
Tokyo DisneySea park will close one hour earlier at 8pm. Tokyo Disneyland already closes at 8 pm, which was earlier imposed in order to ease congestion on public transport.
