Since its beginning over 30 years ago, Tour East has developed a reputation for excellence and quality service to its customers worldwide, with last night seeing the official launch of the new Tour East Australia, headed by Simon Bernardi, pictured in the centre with Dennis T W Choo, MD Tour East Singapore left and right Rob Gurney Group General Manager Sales and Distribution Qantas.
Tour East is recognised as one of the leading destination management companies in Asia, with extensive coverage in eight countries throughout Asia, Tour East having expanded its organisation to meet its customers needs.
On the 1 July Tour East expanded its network to include Australia and is now one of the few companies offering destination management services across Australia and Asia, though a joint venture between the Qantas Group and the Tour East HTT organisation based in Singapore.
Tour East Australia now manages all inbound bookings previously handled by Qantas Holidays and in addition Tour East Australia provides a ‘one stop’ solution for Australian destination management services.

Tour East Australia has one of the most extensive product ranges and allocation levels available and with over 5,000 suppliers and continual investment in systems, they say they provide ‘real time’ confirmations and updates on supplier information.
Tour East Australia offers an extensive selection of tour programs, hotel accommodation, ground transportation, sightseeing tours, lifestyle packages, regional tours and tailor-made itineraries.
With the exception of tailor-made itineraries, all of TE products are available via allocation or free-sale so they can confirm your customers bookings immediately.
Simon Bernardi told The Mole, the first challenge is to get the Tour East name out there and really well know within the trade in Australia and overseas.
He also stressed that TE would not be taking direct consumer bookings.
