Tour operator G.A.P. makes Green List
G.A.P Adventures was named top tour operator in the Condé Nast Traveler Magazine’s Green List.
According to Condé Nast Traveler, the Green List winners demonstrate “The best ways to preserve the environments and cultures that make this planet worth exploring.”
The worldwide tour operator says it was chosen for the list for its commitment for sustainable travel and for its support of the non-profit foundation, Planterra, which supports local projects and is funded by G.A.P.
G.A.P. says it is the world’s largest adventure company, handling more than 40,000 travelers annually. The tour company is also the owner of a famous polar expedition ship, the M/S. Explorer.
