Tourico Holidays reflects on a successful 2014
Global travel distribution company Tourico Holidays was in generous mood during its recent 20th Anniversary bash held in Florida, handing out a raft of prizes to staff including several all-inclusive vacations to Hawaii, Las Vegas and New York City.
Tourico staff from 17 different countries worldwide gathered at Hard Rock Live in Orlando to celebrate 20 years in business, and also to look back at a highly successful 2014 with several important milestones achieved.
"Every single employee – from technology and sales to marketing and business development – and every travel supplier partner has been an integral part of Tourico’s growth and success over the last 20 years," said CEO Uri Argov, who founded the company with $19,000 savings.
Tourico is now a billion dollar global company with a workforce more than 700 and this year partnered with Sam’s Club, the Walmart-owned retail warehouse, to launch an online travel service.
Earlier this month it launched the Tourico-powered Sam’s Club travel app.
In August the company also announced that it now offered more than 10,000 travel activities, attractions and transfers across 85 countries on its website.
