Tourism Society hunts new chief
The Tourism Society is seaching for the new chief executive after the resignation of Carrie England.
She is standing down to take up postgraduate studies, described as a “once in a lifetime opportunity”.
Tourism Society chairman David Curtis-Brignell said: “I and the board wish Carrie every success. She has made a number of significant contributions and changes to the operation of the society in the short time that she has been in office and I know this was a very difficult decision for her to make.”
The position has been advertised on the society’s website www.tourismsociety.org
