Trafalgar and Insight launch sales blitz to woo wavering customers
The Travel Corporation is looking to drive future business with a sales blitz after acknowledging agents are struggling to secure bookings.
TTC brands Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold are offering discounts of 20% on trips between August 2021 and November 2022.
An across-the-board 15% discount has been applied on all holidays which can be combined with a 5% saving for past customers.
"We know that it can be difficult for agents to encourage their clients to commit amidst continued uncertainty about where and when we can travel again," said Rachel Coffey, UK and Ireland Director of Sales and Development for Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Costsaver Tours.
"With this offer combining best ever pricing and fully flexible terms, we have removed all the barriers and are providing the best opportunity to turn the ‘dreaming phase’ of travel into a reality.
"We also wanted to keep the offer simple, comprehensive and timely, making more of our trips more accessible than ever before."
Amid rising fears that the summer season may be impacted by Covid, Coffey claimed TTC has seen a ‘huge increase’ in bookings for travel in late 2021 and 2022.
"The pent-up desire to travel the world is there and we want to give travellers something to look forward to and dream about at better-than-ever prices," she said.
