Trafalgar joins CLIA
Travel firm Trafalgar, which will soon launch river cruises, has joined Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) UK & Ireland as a cruise operator member.
Starting next year, the TTC Tour Brands company will launch two river ships, Trafalgar Reverie and Trafalgar Verity, for river Rhine and Danube itineraries.
CLIA membership enables Trafalgar to engage with CLIA’s UK and Ireland cruise agent network, and offer specialist resources like training and webinars.
Trafalgar will also be at the annual CLIA Conference and dedicated RiverView Conference.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Trafalgar and look forward to supporting them as they develop relationships with the trade. The popularity of river cruise continues to grow rapidly, so this is the ideal time to further support agent understanding,” CLIA UK and Ireland MD Andy Harmer said:
The Trafalgar name is already well known in the trade.
Trafalgar EMEA MD Kelly Jackson said: “Our move into river cruising is an exciting new chapter for Trafalgar, and CLIA’s training, resources and events will be invaluable.”
It is chartering the ships from sister brand Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, and begins sailing in April 2026.
