Trafalgar has launched its 2009 Canada & Alaska Collection of Escorted Tours & Cruises, offering clients a complete range of incredible experiences, like picturesque Alaskan cruising, scenic rail journeys, stunning wildlife and intriguing cities, including a fantastic new tour.

Paul McGrath, managing director of Trafalgar said, “For 2009 we have 12 first-class escorted holidays on offer, including the new 12-day Splendours of Western Canada, with optional seven-night Inside Passage cruise to Alaska.

“Trafalgar has got Canada and Alaska completely covered.”

“Whether your clients are seeking a holiday in the majestic Rocky Mountains, or want to explore the unique cultural wonders of Canada’s east coast maritime communities, take a cruise through Alaska’s glacier-filled waterways or experience pristine forests teeming with wildlife, Trafalgar has a great selection of regionally-focused holidays and comprehensive journeys traversing North America.”

“Included in the 2009 collection are holidays that incorporate stunning rail journeys and luxurious cruise options. Clients can travel by train aboard the famous Rocky Mountaineer, enjoy VIA Rail’s flagship, The Canadian or The Skeena, which travels through remote wild landscapes, or experience the Alaska Railroad from Denali National Park to Anchorage.”

“Clients looking to add the ultimate cruise experience to their Canada holiday have a range of optional add-ons available with Trafalgar, with either luxurious Princess Cruises or classic Holland America on offer.”

“Agents should consider suggesting to clients that they take advantage of great seasonal experiences and events like the Calgary Stampede, the stunning fall foliage or spring blooms during Ottowa’s Canadian Tulip Festival, all incorporated within our 2009 touring program.”

“On a Trafalgar Canada and Alaska holiday clients will see all the popular highlights, but Trafalgar’s highly experienced team of tour directors will also ensure they are treated to many unique and in-depth experiences of the region that will enrich their holiday.”
