Trainline appoints marketing director
TheTrainline has appointed Iain Hildreth as director of marketing.
Reporting to commercial director Ben Pearson, Hildreth will have overall responsibility for marketing activities including public relations, customer relationship management and online and offline marketing.
He joins from marketing consultancy, Brand Learning, where he was marketing capability director.
Prior to this, he held numerous senior marketing positions including head of brand and offline marketing at eBay, head of group brand experience at Barclays and international marketing manager at Shell.
Pearson said: “TheTrainline is moving into a very exciting period in its evolution and Iain’s appointment will be critical to its success. With proven marketing experience in the online environment, Iain will build on our current market leading position and significantly grow our customer base.”
