Travel management firm Egencia, part of the Expedia travel group, has expanded its Asia footprint with the opening of a new office in Singapore.

It now has representation in 65 countries including offices in China, India and Australia.

"Singapore has a well-deserved international reputation for being a business-friendly city, and an important travel hub, and we’re delighted to be here," said Egencia president Rob Greyber.

"Growing in Asia means we can provide our world-class customer service and intuitive technology to modern business travellers throughout the region."

"Our offering supports a number of clients building their footprint within the APAC region and Asian businesses looking to expand internationally, so it’s only natural that we expand as they do," said Egencia Asia Pacific managing director Kyle Davis.
