Travel Network agents get free access to e-brochures
The Travel Network Group has managed to persuade suppliers to foot the bill for its popular trailstream desktop product, used by its agent members.
The technology allows members, including Worldchoice, Worldchoice Plus, TTA and Independent Travel Experts (ITE), to create quotes for customers including a personalised e-brochure which can be printed off or sent to customers by email.
In the past, operators have been able to load their content for free but agents have to pay for the system.
Thanks to an exclusive agreement between The Travel Network Group and trailstream, the brochure content and video production company, suppliers have agreed to pay to load brochure content, so it can be offered for free to supporting members.
Helen Burgess, membership director, The Travel Network Group, said: "Members have been telling us for some time that they like trailstream Desktop but have been reluctant to commit to the cost during these difficult economic times. This initiative we believe will be win win for the members and supporting business partners."
