It was another largely difficult day for travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s equity markets failed to make significant headway. The FTSE 100 index managed to gain 10.7 points higher at 4507.5, while the FTSE 250 dropped 8.4 points to end the day at 6244.8. The biggest winner of the day was Carnival, which gained 63p to close at 2572p.
