There were few major changes for travel industry shares yesterday despite the fact that London’s equity markets pushed ahead to their highest levels this year. The FTSE 100 index climbed steadily to gain 1.6 per cent in volume, adding 67.4 points to close at 4410.0, while the FTSE 250 added 40.4 points to end the day at 5753.0.
