Travelink signs up Tropic Breeze

Travelink, the specialist tour operator systems provider, signed up Caribbean specialist Tropic Breeze.

The company has signed up six new clients since the start of the year.

Tropic Breeze will use the Travelink system to manage flights and accommodations, and to handle invoicing and itinerary production, according to Travelink.

Travelink has unveiled several enhancements over the past six months, including no-frill airline content bookable entirely within the system, integrated GDS content from Amadeus and a ‘capital free’ business model allowing customers to use outsourced hardware and pay on a ‘per passenger’ basis.

The company has made its system accessible via the telephone, the internet or Viewdata. Operators can also use the system to sell different components of a vacation through all these channels, and to vary the price of each component.

Travelink’s flexibility to meet very specific requirements of small and medium-sized tour operators attracted Tropic Breeze, according to Mark Fitch, head of operations.
