TravelMole is to extend its global online travel industry news service to India.

TravelMole India will be launched at SATTE, India’s largest travel industry exhibition in Dehli on January 28-30, and aims to reach 90% of travel agencies in the country.

Co-operating partners will include SATTE and other major India travel and tourism industry stakeholders within and outside India, leading the meteoric growth in tourism:

India’s foreign tourist arrival is expected to double from 5.37 million in 2008 to 10 million in 2010, when she hosts the Commonwealth Games, and to an average 7.7 per cent per annum growth over the coming 10 years.

Domestic as well as outbound tourism has been driven with personal disposable income having grown nearly 15% over the past 8 years in India.

Indian outbound tourist flow is expected to increase at a 13% through 2012.

The expansion will see TravelMole operate in India, the UK/Europe, US and Asia/Pacific regions.
