Travelocity completes deal with Pegasus
Travelocity Business announced it completed a deal with hotel provider Pegasus Solutions and its Utel service to offer customers discounted rates at more than 4,300 Utel member hotels around the world. The hotels range from economy to deluxe, according to Travelocity. Their customers can receive extra savings up to 20% off regular published rates on Utel properties. Travelocity says with these reduced hotel costs, and additional deals created by Travelocity Business, companies can attain average savings of more than $100 per trip, or over 20% per trip. Those savings include 26% on airline tickets and service fee savings of up to 84%, according to the company. Utel has more than 1,000 hotels throughout the Americas and more than 3,000 overseas. Those hotels include the New York Helmsley in New York, the King George in San Francisco and the Sagamore Hotel in Miami.
