Travelodge adds to sales team
Travelodge is gearing up for further expansion by recruiting former Marriott UK head of corporate sales Catriona Savage.
She joins the budget hotel chain in the new role of director of sales and field marketing, responsible for a team of 12.
Her responsibilities include all business, leisure and agency sales and field marketing to support existing hotels and new openings.
The company said: “Catriona’s experience will prove invaluable to Travelodge as it undertakes its biggest ever expansion programme in 2005.”
Travelodge has also added former Premier Lodge business development manager Philip Stanley as head of sales and business development. The company recently recruited Gywn Jones as regional development manager for the south, Wolfgang Gold as regional development manager for the north, Duncan Osborn as business travel trade industry manager and Beverley Williams as leisure travel trade industry manager.
