Travelport streamlining travel agent payments with eNett virtual transactions
Travelmole.tv recently sat down with Gordon Wilson, CEO and president of Travelport to discuss the company’s integrated payment solutions for travel agents.
Travelport has increased its stake in payment tech company eNett, which provides auto generated one time use virtual account numbers (VANs) for agents to pay suppliers.
As Wilson explains, the B2B payment solution offers the benefits of reduced fraud risk, with travel agents able to control payment parameters such as when to issue payment and setting a specific value to each transaction.
Integrated within Travelport dustribution channels, eNett VANs’ multi currency options reduce foreign exchange costs and offers full transparency with automatic reconciliation for each transaction.
