TravelSupermarket has appointed Darren Bentley to the newly created role of marketing director.

Bentley, who previously held the position of head of performance media at parent company, MoneySupermarket Group, will lead all above the line and digital marketing at the travel comparision website.

Prior to joining MoneySuperMarket Group in 2012, Darren led the paid search function at PHD Media overseeing a range of retail, FMCG, travel and financial services clients.

His appointment comes as the site sets ‘ambitious growth targets’ for the next three years.

He said: "It’s a really exciting time to join the TravelSupermarket team. We have highly ambitious growth targets over the next three years and both a fantastic team and product roadmap to help deliver them."
