TRAVELTech 2007: Destination Online – speakers announced and bookings open
Bookings are now open for 2007’s TRAVELtech in Sydney on August 28, which Martin Kelly, the organiser says features a strong, issues-based program that looks beyond the obvious into the far reaches of the Australian travel web.
With this year’s Destination Online theme, the program covers all the hot topics, from Maps, Mashups and Web 2.0 through to Gen Y and the dreaded Long Tail – plus the usual detailed industry analysis of online distribution and marketing trends.
This year’s event also features many new speakers, including a focus on web travel entrepreneurs, their business models and the sites they have built, while the agenda also examines niche sectors such as online car hire and train travel.
Another highlight will be an interview with Stella Travel Services boss Keith Stanley, who leads Australia’s largest travel group, ensuring a rare insight into the company everyone is talking about.
