Traveltek sales chief takes stake in the firm
Traveltek shareholders have agreed to sell a minority interest to the company’s current global sales director.
Peter Whittle, who has been with the company for nearly eight years, said the time was right to take a stake.
"I look forward to working with the Traveltek team to take it to the next level," he added.
Traveltek MD Kenny Picken said the investment underpins Whittle’s ‘total drive and commitment’ to the travel technology firm.
"Peter has been both exceptionally hard working and even inspirational at times and adds another dimension to the company," he said.
"I am personally delighted to make this announcement and to welcome Peter to become an ‘owner’ in the business as we continue to drive forward in our quest to become a global leader in Internet travel technology."
