Travelweb selects Internap
Travelweb named Internap to deliver high-speed connectivity for its online distribution network, it was announced. Internap is a provider of performance-based routing technology over the Internet. Travelweb LLC is a joint venture of Hilton Hotels Corporation, Hyatt Corporation, Marriott International, InterContinental Hotels group, Starwood Hotels and Pegasus Solutions, Inc. Under the agreement, Internap will provide Travelweb wih internet services for the company’s website. Internap is a provider for many other travel and hospitality companies, including American Airlines, Expedia and Travelocity. “Travelweb enables more than 50,000 hotels worldwide to sell their hotel rooms through multiple distribution affiliates, so speed, redundancy and reliability are critical to our business,” said Aaron Coleman, Chief Technology Officer for Travelweb LLC.
