Treasure Island eliminates Nadi stopover requirement

Treasure Island Resort has introduced a new airport check-in service and dedicated lounge facility at Nadi International Airport.

The new facility, a claimed first for the Fiji hotel industry, means the resort can now offer its guests a seamless transfer service on arrival at the destination, the service complimenting the resort’s existing boat transfer service which meets all Australian flight arrivals.

Located in the arrivals concourse, the new facility also doubles as a departure lounge for clients who can leave luggage there on a pre-check in basis.

Treasure Island Resort General Manager, Graeme Back said the establishment of the new service had in effect eliminated the need for his guests to book an overnight pre-resort stay in Nadi which guests staying at other Mamanuca Island resorts are still required to book.

“The new system means we can collect our guests from the arrivals concourse and have them in their bures on Treasure Island in less than an hour, no need to overnight in Nadi,” he said.

“Having already ‘checked in’ at the airport, this means our guests can now proceed directly to their rooms on arrival at the resort.

The new service also applies to guests staying at Treasure Island Resort’s sister property, Bounty Island Resort.
