TripAdvisor tops 20m user reviews
Online travel community TripAdvisor has increased its number of user reviews and opinions by five million since April.
The company now features more than 20 million reviews, a rise of 14 million over two years.
The number of registered members has also risen from more than five million at the start of the year to more than nine million.
More than half of TripAdvisor’s 25 million unique monthly visitors come from outside the US.
The TripAdvisor Media Network operates an additional 12 travel media brands, which combined are claimed to reach more than 32 million unique monthly visitors.
Founder and CEO Steve Kaufer said: “We continue to see tremendous growth opportunity for our business, both with the addition of new features on our sites and continued international expansion.â€
