TripSight offers instant advice
Symmetric Technologies says its recently launched TripSight.com provides instant destination advice for leisure travelers.
The site is designed to be time saving while also closing what TripSight calls the “gap in travel research.” The tool does that by finding destinations that perfectly fit travelers’ interests, according to Rob Roberts, COO at Symmetric.
Travelers who want to find the best hiking destinations close to home, for example, or the top places for antique shopping in the US simply “ask” TripSight, he said.
“More than 50% of leisure travelers use the internet to make travel choices and we’re giving them the advanced tools to make these choices confidentally,” he said.
The site offers rankings and opinionated writing on “What’s Great” and “Not so Great” about destinations. Mr Roberts said the opinions come from dozens of experts and researchers, including travel agents.
