Triton conference special: Group unveils new ATOL scheme

Monday, 21 Apr, 2008 0

All Triton members will now be able to advertise their own fully protected dynamic packages after the group unveiled its new ATOL scheme.

The scheme has been available to Global Travel Group members for four years and has now been rolled out to Advantage, Worldchoice and Independent Options members.

The protection costs £18 per booking, for up to nine passengers.

In addition to general customer protection, it provides contingency cover, public and product liability insurance, airline failure insurance and accommodation provider insurance. The new £1 ATOL protection contribution is also included in the scheme.

Global Travel Group product development director Jason Edwards said: “It is all encompassing and it’s simple, safe and workable.”

Global has produced an information and awareness pack for agents. There is a support number for retailers: 01244 521202, [email protected]
