TSA finds live cat in bag
The Transportation Security Administration has literally let the cat out of the bag.
A TSA officer spotted a live cat inside a traveler’s bag as it passed through the security scanner at New York JFK.
The agent was ‘shocked’ the TSA said.
“A TSA officer found an orange cat inside a checked bag at @JFKairport after it went through the X-ray unit,” tweeted Lisa Farbstein, TSA public affairs officer.
“On the bright side, the cat’s safely back home”.
The bag’s owner was unaware of the would-be stowaway.
The cat belonged to someone else in the household.
The feline’s owner didn’t know her cat was missing until she received a call from airport authorities.
“Our cats really like to check out bags and boxes and apparently one of them climbed into his suitcase,” the cat’s owner told the New York Post.
