TTI attracts 150th member
Website design and development firm Netizen has become the 150th member of the Travel Technology Initiative.
Other members who have recently joined the non-profit technology organisation include Spanish travel company Authentrex, German software developer InteRes and internet based travel agency Iglu.com
TTI chairman Tony Allen said: “TTI now has more members than at any time in the organisation’s 16 year history, testament to the great work we are doing in developing technology standards and promoting IT issues through our conferences and forums.”
Netizen managing director Kate Bantick said: “We believe that the organisation makes a very important contribution to the development of common technology standards within the travel industry. We are looking forward to playing an active role within the organisation.”
TTI recently announced the continuing roll out of its TORIX and TOPAS data standards which are designed to replace viewdata.
