TTNG conference promises to showcase the real Budapest
The Travel Network Group has revealed more details of its 2019 conference, which takes place in Budapest in March.
CEO Gary Lewis said delegates would get a chance to sample what Budapest has to offer, with more events being hosted outside of the hotel.
Delegates will stay overnight onboard one of the three AmaWaterways river ships moored side-by-side on the Danube. AmaWaterways will also host the welcome party including a private dinner, sailing and illumination tour.
He said: "What’s so great about Budapest is the quality and authenticity that it offers as a conference destination, and we want to maximise our time there and give members an experience that they will never forget.
"We are planning three very different evenings for delegates, that will allow them to experience the diversity of the city."
On the Friday evening, delegates will travel by tram to Budapest’s 19th century Great Market Hall for an evening of Hungarian hospitality, while there will be a gala dinner on the Saturday night at Vigadó, one of Budapest’s finest neoclassical concert halls, located on the Eastern bank of the Danube.
Over 320 members have already booked to attend the conference and the overall delegation is expected to be around 550.
The event takes place from March 21-24.
