TUI adds Kos flights from Exeter, Bournemouth
TUI is adding new regional flights to the Greek island of Kos.
Starting next summer, travellers from Bournemouth and Exeter airports can fly direct to the island.
TUI said it is also bringing back direct Kos flights from London Stansted for the first time in more than six years.
Stansted flights will initially operate twice a week while Bournemouth and Exeter will have weekly flights.
“These new routes to Kos follow a rise in demand, and is one of our customers’ favourite Greek destinations,’ said Tui UK & Ireland MD Neil Swanson.
“By launching services from Bournemouth and Exeter for the first time, and reinstating our popular London Stansted route, we’re making it easier than ever for customers across the south of England to enjoy a Greek island holiday.”
Stansted aviation director Simon Gorrighan hailed the reinstatement of Stansted-Kos flights: “We’re delighted to see the return of the Kos route with TUI, reconnecting passengers to one of Greece’s most popular holiday destinations.”
