TUI appoints new communications director
TUI UK & Ireland has appointed Fiona Jennings as director of external communications for mainstream brands Thomson and First Choice.
Christian Cull, former TUI UK & Ireland director of communications, left the company in November.
Jennings joins the company with 20 years of communications experience working on brands such as WHSmith, eBay, Amazon and Tesco.
She most recently headed up communications for Comet, where she worked for over five years.
According to TUI, her expertise lies in consumer brand communication and crisis management; she has also been involved in a number of high profile campaigns including Amazon’s entry into the UK market and the launch of Tesco.com.
Jennings joins TUI on March 12 and will assume management responsibilities for the PR team, reporting into managing director for TUI UK & Ireland David Burling.
