TUI launches Cairo winter city breaks
TUI has opened winter Cairo city breaks to the UK market.
The Egypt capital is YUI UK’s latest city break destination.
As well as a vibrant city, Cairo unlocks the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx.
TUI offer flight options to Cairo from London Heathrow, Manchester and London Gatwick airports, with flights on British Airways, Egyptair and easyJet.
Travellers can build a flexible stay with the option to add experiences such as guided tours, Nile cruises and museum visits.
Cairo is home to the brand new Grand Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of ancient artefacts including treasures from King Tutankhamun’s tomb.
Lesser-known attractions include Al-Azhar Park, a green oasis with sweeping views of the city skyline.
“Cairo offers a truly special city break. It’s ideal for customers who are after sunshine but want more than a beach holiday. With ancient Luxor also available as a city break, we’ve got all the bases covered,” said TUI’s Commercial Director Chris Logan.
“Egypt is one of the best-value winter sun destinations, especially during the winter months.”
