TUI opens fourth Next concession
TUI has relocated its Rushden and Wellingborough stores into a single concession within Next at Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre in Northamptonshire.
The agency said its unit in Next offered customers a ‘new, modern environment’, which includes a welcome bar and travel money desk due to open at a later date.
TUI is also re-opening a new travel concession in the Next store in Fishergate, Preston following its closure due to lockdown.
TUI’s Friargate store relocated in March to the Next store, but was only open for four days before it was forced to close.
Due to current social distancing requirements, customers are required to wait outside the stores and will be invited by consultants to sit at one of four desks, which are sanitised between every visit and separated by Perspex screens.
TUI has four concessions within Next stores currently open.
TUI opened its first concession in partnership with Next in Sheffield in July 2019 and has since opened three more in Birstall, Preston and Rushden.
The concession store in Preston is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm and has future plans to open on Sundays.
The concession store in Rushden is currently open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm, has future plans to extend opening hours until 8pm from Monday to Friday.
