TUI restarting Sharm flights from East Midlands Airport
Holiday firm TUI is restarting Sharm El Sheikh flights from East Midlands Airport next spring.
Flights take off again in March 2026 after a three-year gap.
The route operates twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.
TUI last flew there from East Midlands in 2023.
Strong demand has led to its reinstatement, TUI says
“Due to strong customer demand, we are thrilled to once again connect the East Midlands with the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh,” said UK & Ireland commercial director Chris Logan.
“With hundreds of amazing hotels to choose from and guaranteed sunshine, Sharm El Sheikh is the perfect destination for a summer holiday.”
East Midlands Airport MD Steve Griffiths hailed the news: “We’re always pleased to be able to offer our customers a greater choice of destinations, so we’re delighted that TUI is resuming Sharm El Sheikh flights.”
